Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I invest in a Professional MUA for my wedding day?
Booking a professional to do your makeup is one of the best investments you can make for your wedding day. When you hire a professional makeup artist, you're not just paying for the makeup application. You are paying for a professional who has invested their education, knowledge, and products in order to ensure longevity and overall happiness of their clients. As a makeup artist, I travel to your destination and provide a curated schedule in order for you to relax and enjoy your special day!
When should I book you for my wedding?
I suggest that you book as soon as you get your venue booked. Especially If your wedding is between the months of May-October (peak wedding season). During this season, I typically book 1-2 year in advance on a first come first serve basis. Contract & Deposit are required.
What is required to book for my wedding?
To secure your date, I require a deposit and signed contract. Since I book on a first come first serve basis, I do not hold dates without them. Your deposit goes toward the final payment.
Should I book a trial with you?
I HIGHLY suggest that you book a trial with me before your wedding date. This ensures that we have time to discuss your vision and understand expectations.
When should I book a trial with you?
We can book a trial at any point of the year. However, please keep in mind that trials do not ensure the confirmation of your wedding date. (Your deposit and contract do) Also, you should keep in mind of the season in which you are booking your trial or if you have any up coming events. Seasons change and so does your skin. Upcoming events can help you get a feel of how the makeup will last throughout the day and in photos.
Do you have a service minimum?
For weddings, yes. I require at least a 4 service minimum. Larger bridal parties that are over 6-7 will require a second artist to be booked upon the availability of that artist.
Do you offer package deals?
Yes! Please submit your inquiry to find out more info on pricing and packages.
How do I know if your makeup / kit is clean?
Sanitation is my BIGGEST priority and I cannot stress this enough. I always deep clean my kit/tools prior to every event and clean my tools/makeup in between each client. Using sanitation products such as 70% alcohol, disinfecting wipes, professional grade brush cleaner, disposable applicators and sponges.
Why did you choose your brand name?
Well, after spending many years in the mental health field, I too struggled with my own mental health. I knew it was time for me to find an outlet. I had always told my clients, that "beauty begins with a beautiful mindset" and with this, I have always felt the need to inspire. Makeup is my therapy...and sometimes, I can never make up my own damn mind. lol (p.s. puns are great)
